For styles flat than upright and kerbed the more stone and carving the more it will be. Stone laser etching and engraving works best on polished dark or natural stones. Stone laser engraving is particularly effective with dark polished natural stones like granite marble and basalt. Get a feel for the engraving process using a stone similar to the one you re saving for the final project.
For engraving a laser etched is cheaper than traditional sandblasted and the fewer words pictures the cheaper it will be. Laser engraving technology is the most advanced method for personalizing stone items.
